The MW-450 is a wide-format saddle stitching and folding platform for wide-format booklet production. It is available in single-output and dual-output configurations depending on your production needs. Its four stitching heads distinguish it from the two-head 480 / 490 / 530 platforms.

Wide-format brochures, manuals and booklets — single output as standard, or two booklets per sheet in the MW-450D configuration.

Two wires would concentrate the hold in the middle and let the ends lift; spreading the load holds a wide spine flat when the booklet is opened.
The work is not split across a folder and a stitcher, so the setting-up cost is paid once.
Sheet widths the narrower platforms cannot take, so wide catalogues and magazines are not split or re-imposed.
For runs short enough that setting up, not running speed, sets the pace.
